The owner of Lassen Plumas Medical Transportation is Vicky Scott. Vicky trained as a CNA in 1994 training and working in Skilled Nursing Facilities in Paradise and Chico, CA. Shortly after becoming a CNA, her interest shifted to Assisted Living Facilities. She became the Lead Care Attendant and Supervisor of her shift at Sunshine Manor, a 22 resident Assisted Living Facility; and managed, Mountain Meadow, an 18 resident Assisted Living Facility, on the weekends, both in Paradise, CA.

She then went on to become an In-Home Health Care provider serving and assisting the Greatest Generation. She offered In-Home Health Care assessments for the County of Butte. She volunteered and donated her time to be able to assist those who offered her their precious memories, love and wisdom.

She worked swing shift and weekends at two Hospital ER's as the ER Registration Clerk.

Her background before becoming a Nursing Assistant was as a Word Processor, becoming a Traditional Typesetter, specializing in the Compugraphic EditWriter 7500, and other traditional equipment for the Paradise Post; Chico News & Review; and freelancing throughout Santa Clara County and the Bay Area.

When Apple came out with the Macintosh she purchased equipment and with PageMaker became a "Desk-Top" Publisher.

She was a Full Charge Bookkeeper and Scheduler for a major contractor in Paradise, CA.

She was an Assistant and Full Charge Bookkeeper for a Retired Superior Court Judge assisting in the management of land and logging operations.

She founded CAID (Citizens Against Illegal Dumping) and worked with Sierra Pacific Industries, W. M. Beaty, Butte County Sheriff's Department, and others, in cleaning up illegal dump sites and installing gates to prevent illegal dumping of mattresses, refrigerators, piles of shingles and other items found in the forest, and on equestrian trails.

She was a member of the Back Country Horsemen's Association, and was an avid endurance horseback rider in Butte County riding her pure Polish Arabian.

She was a member of the Paradise Soroptimist Club and participated in the Exchange club with her husband at the time.

She served as a Paradise Pines Property Owner's Association Board Member.

She served as the "Earthquakes" 8 year old soccer coach in Paradise, CA for 2 years.

She served as the Softball Manager for the 14 year old girls in Paradise, CA.

She volunteered In-Home Health care services to many and visited Skilled Nursing Facilities, outside of work so that she could "just hold their hands."

As the owner operator of LPMT she enjoys every aspect of her work. She is a disabled citizen and was transported for 4 years. She understands the need for medical transportation and how patients feel when being transported. Being with and transporting patients is what she prefers to do, but the fast pace of being an NEMT Broker in the office thrills her.

Vicky has accomplished the task required by the DHCS in order to become a Provider allowed to bill for In-Home Health Care services and other Health Care Services as a Healthcare Provider. She has successfully assisted In-Home Health Care patients in the rehabilitation of physical, mental and occupational services.
